From home based, remote and regional access to medical professionals via Zoom, to Tracking Apps for monitoring the spread of COVID-19, technology is changing the way we interact with healthcare at a very personal; and a State and Federal level.
In 2020, many of us have stories of woe when it comes to our health. In the wake of the overstretched health systems and an increasingly health conscious population, a fundamental shift has had to take place. And Dr Google just isn’t going to cut it.
So, it’s with no sense of overstatement that I say the accelerated digital transformation of Healthcare has already, and will continue to, save lives.
For many people around Australia, our physical health can now be monitored and improved with free access to YouTube workout videos; using prompts, such as wearable tech monitors, to advise us on everything from steps taken to blood pressure, sugar levels and menstrual cycles.
We see this in mental health, too, with many of the enjoyments and essential activities stripped by COVID-19 replaced by HealthTech-led alternatives. This year, we’ve seen more people keep in touch with loved ones via Social Media and Skype, work from home with Zoom, watch content together via FaceTime. Not to mention, we meditate with Headspace and use Streaks to build healthy habits.
The question we have to ask now is: what next? HealthTech has accelerated at the speed of human demand, at a time when we needed it the most. So now, we must strive to replace the temporary nature of these easements, with a permanent shift in perception and use.
There’s nothing more universal than our health. Every customer, prospect and member of staff will have their own story, their own take. So, to find and build your brand’s unique offering that bands them all together will require significant storytelling expertise. Which is where we come in.
Let’s talk about how to help your business start-up, scale up, or step up into the future of Healthtech marketing.
