The past month has proved a challenging time for clients and Hotwire alike, due to the unprecedented knock-on effects of COVID-19. However, in the midst of it all, we’ve had some incredibly exciting news to shout about - being shortlisted for, and winning a number of impressive accolades across the industry. Here’s five reasons to celebrate!

1. Winners of the PRWeek Best Places to Work Mid-sized agency award (and Highly Commended for the Rewards & Benefits award)

A ‘commitment to trust and promotion of equality’  were two of the reasons judges gave for awarding the Mid-sized Agency prize to us at Hotwire.

Our thoughtful working policy and a nod to our Mental Health Toolkit were just some of the many reasons why Hotwire gained such high recognition from the judges, highlighting the stellar work from our People and Culture teams in making this the best agency you’ll ever be a part of and work with.

2. #4 in the PRWeek UK Top 150 Tech PR rankings 

We were delighted to come in at number four in the UK Top 150 Technology PR rankings by PR Week.

The increasing integration between marketing and communications departments over the past year at Hotwire has led to some fantastic examples of campaign and project work across the agency, resulting in this fantastic achievement and being recognised as one of the top Tech PR agencies in the UK.

3. #38 in PRWeek UK's Top 150 consultancies 2020

The PRWeek UK Top 150 table provides key insights into the status of the PR sector in the UK in the 2019 calendar year, so we were thrilled to be unveiled in the annual rankings at number 38 - up a whole six spots from the previous year. Watch this space!

4. Shortlisted for Provoke’s Tech Agency of the Year 

Continuing the endless roll of good news, we were also shortlisted in the ‘Technology Consultancies of the Year’ category in Provoke’s  EMEA Consultancies of the Year awards this week.

The selections are the result of an exhaustive research process involving more than 200 submissions from the best PR firms across Europe, the Middle East and Africa – a real testament to the agency in getting through to the final five. We’ll be keeping our fingers crossed until the results are announced later this year.

5. Shortlisted for not one, but two categories in the CIPR Excellence Awards

Developing and executing creative, award-winning campaigns are something we are very proud of here at Hotwire. So we were thrilled to learn that we were shortlisted in two categories in the CIPR Excellence Awards 2020. 

The shortlists for Consumer Relations Campaign and Travel, Leisure or Tourism Campaign have come off the back of the work carried out by the UK Consumer team with our client HomeAway on The Teddy Express campaign. 

We’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for the shortlist entries and raising a glass in the meantime to celebrate the continued hard work and delivery of fantastic results across the agency!
