For years the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud capabilities and data have been transforming the way we work, communicate and carry out daily activities. It’s no surprise that these technologies have made their mark on the fitness sector, transforming when, where and how we workout and the ways in which we track progress.

From wearables to fitness apps and the ability to exercise just about anywhere, technology has disrupted the industry, offering consumers convenient ways to prioritize their health and fitness. It’s no surprise that similarly to last year, CES 2020 will have an eye on fitness and wearables, from exhibitors to panels. We'll see how advances in the space are being taken to the next level with tracking activity and extending connectivity.

With AI and machine learning advancements and 5G around the corner, we can only expect even more innovation and competition in this space and a continued focus at CES 2020 and beyond.
