It's always nice when the big guys in media follow what you've been saying! Interesting reading in today's Axios newsletter that TikTok is on the rise in the U.S. with over 7M monthly unique visitors, doubling in the past year.

The upshot of all of this popularity? Facebook has taken notice with the recent launch of its own TikTok competitor called Lasso.

Given our report showing that kids are increasingly resistant to Facebook, it will be interesting to see if Facebook can do to TikTok what it's already doing to Snapchat (with the roll-out of Instagram Stories taking a huge chunk out of Snapchat's usage).

This will be a fascinating space to watch but if you're a brand trying to reach not only kids but families, i'd definitely be looking at TikTok now for how to reach and engage this audience.
