As we've said previously, the big consulting firms are circling the marketing services industry like feeding sharks. Here's yet another example of an acquisition designed to bolster Deloitte's end to end offering. 

As they say in the quote, the addition of a design capability complements and enhances Deloitte's digital offering.  It's a smart and logical move and no doubt good news for Market Gravity. 

Whether the two cultures are compatible and whether Market Gravity can adapt to Deloitte's methods of working remains to be seen. But if these acquisitions can be made to work (and I think it's a big IF), then we should expect to see more of this selective feeding from the consultancy sharks in the months to come.
